Aiden Georgianna, 15, an avid angler from Fulton, was fishing for carp recently near Paper Mill Island in Baldwinsville when he hooked a fish straight from the prehistoric era.
For bait, Aiden was using a carp favorite: corn kernels pinched on a circle hook tied to 50-pound braid. A three-ounce sinker got the corn to the bottom of the Seneca River.
