The City of Olathe and Kansas Department of Transportation will host an open house this month about the Interstate 35 Santa Fe Forward Project — a massive overhaul of one of the city’s most traveled areas.
Olathe and KDOT are partnering in the project to improve traffic flow and safety in one of the region’s most congested stretch of roads. Utility relocation has already started in Olathe, and construction on I-35 is anticipated to start by the end of the year.
