Idaho teenager’s Make-A-Wish is to share love and compassion

EAGLE — A stuffed animal, especially one who looks sincere and gives good hugs, can help a lot. They’re the friend who doesn’t judge. They’re the friend who always has your back and never needs anything in return.

Liberty, a 13-year-old Make-A-Wish recipient from Jerome, must know this. Her wish is to give stuffed bears to other children who have heart conditions, according to a news release from the nonprofit. The bears will be provided at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, at Eagle Island State Park.
