NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) – SRP Federal Credit Union hosted a blood drive in collaboration with Shepeard Community Blood Center, helping to provide relief during a national blood supply crisis.
SRP said 55 participants donated a total of 49 pints earlier this month, enough to save up to 147 local lives.
As students return to school, a local crossing guard is reminding parents, drivers and children about the basics of staying safe near busy streets.
Donors had the opportunity to give blood in Shepeard’s mobile donation units at SRP’s Administrative Campus or donate at any of Shepeard’s donor centers throughout the week…
