Robert’s Comfort Food Feels Like a Warm Hug to Your Belly
One of my family’s favorite places to eat is Robert’s. We love going there for their Friday fish fries! So, when I found out they were moving to a new location, I wondered what would change. Turns out, there were lots of upgrades, including a beautiful new location and some additions to the menu.
Located in the former Bob Evans building on the corner of Green River Rd. and Vogel Ave., we walked into the new restaurant and were greeted with upscale designs, gorgeous chandeliers, and a nice bar/waiting area.
The owner, Bart, told us he wanted a design that was fresh but comfortable. The chandeliers and bright floral walls add such a classy touch to the overall aesthetic. But the renovations are still a work in progress. Some of their furniture got lost in transit, so they are using the former restaurant’s pieces, but the new stuff is on the way…
