North Central Florida landowners urged to apply for conservation aid

North Central Florida landowners interested in protecting natural resources while maintaining productive uses of their property are encouraged to apply for conservation financial assistance through two Regional Conservation Partnership Program projects led by the Alachua Conservation Trust.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, in partnership with Alachua Conservation Trust, is offering funding opportunities for Entity Held Conservation Easements and land management practices through the Surface to Springs and Forest to Gulf Regional Conservation Partnership Programs. Applications are due Sept. 30, 2026.
