Alexander Elementary School was once among the lowest-performing schools in Greenville County.
It now ranks as the seventh-most-improved school in the state for student academic growth on the South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Assessments (SC READY). Alexander Elementary School earned this recognition after increasing student proficiency in English Language Arts by more than 14 percentage points since the 2024-25 school year.
