If you like new folk music and reside in Huntsville, Alabama, there’s a can’t-miss show tonight – not in a traditional venue, coffeehouse or bar, but in the basement of Meredith Johnson and Compton McMurry’s home.
Located in a neighborhood between the Five Points and Jones Valley areas, the home of Johnson and McMurray, who are married, is known as the Common House, named after their talented folk-pop duo Common Man, when they put on shows there.
