(NewsNation) — Amid rising water levels, authorities have suspended the search for an Indiana teen who went missing after jumping off a bridge Wednesday night, NewsNation local affiliate WXIN reported.
Delaware County Chief Deputy Jeff Stanley said multiple agencies were dispatched to the bridge at 8:37 p.m. after receiving a report that four people jumped into the river. First responders arrived around half an hour later and located two of the people, safely removing them from the water. The third was found and rescued shortly after.

Search teams were unable to locate the fourth person, an unnamed 18-year-old local high school graduate. Boats, drones and people on foot continued to search for the teen through the night before suspending search operations at around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
Authorities resumed the search at 8 a.m., with additional assistance from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, multiple law enforcement agencies and local fire departments. The search was suspended again at 2 p.m. due to dangerous conditions caused by rising water levels.
