MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — Attorneys have filed two lawsuits against the City of Myrtle Beach after multiple homeless people were arrested over the weekend. The attorneys represent six of the accused.
Stuart Axelrod and Tristan Shaffer spoke at Fresh Brew Coffee House where the arrests took place right outside. They claim – the city is misusing its power to mistreat the people who were arrested.
They also say that no loitering happened, and the police failed to do their job correctly. The lawsuits come after 14 people were arrested outside Fresh Brew Coffee House over the weekend…
