John-Carlos Estrada has ended a seven-year run as morning anchor at KEYE CBS Austin.
Estrada announced his departure in a social media post: “After 7 years of overnight alarms, my time anchoring CBS Austin This Morning has come to an end.” He thanked viewers and the Central Texas community for their trust and encouragement over the years.
“I’m looking forward to the next chapter. In the months ahead, I’ll be completing my forthcoming book with UT Press and continuing the documentary projects that have become such an important part of my work as a journalist and storyteller. Austin remains home, and I look forward to staying connected to the community that has given me so much.”…
