TEXAS — Texas is now at a level three wildfire preparedness level, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service. This means wildfire activity is impacting several regions of the state. On Wednesday, the Texas A&M Forest Service received six requests for assistance on wildfires burning a combined 280 acres.
“High heat, humidity is getting up there which makes the feel like temperature very hot and without that rain and moisture coming in that wildfire danger has increased,” said Flower Mound Fire Chief Paul Henley.
