Rush-hour crash ties up I-70 traffic headed into downtown Kansas City

A two-vehicle crash at the start of the morning rush hour Friday closed two lanes of Interstate 70 in the Jackson Curve headed into downtown Kansas City.

The crash occurred shortly before 6 a.m. on westbound I-70 before the East 23rd Street exit, according to the KC Scout, a bi-state traffic management system.
