SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Ozarks First is speaking to residents and workers in Springfield on how they’re staying cool in the heat wave that continues to pummel the Ozarks.
“It’s been a lot more humid this year. I know we’ve had a lot more rain, so it definitely keeps the sweat factor up a lot more versus when it’s just a dry heat. It doesn’t really hold onto you as well, but with the moisture in the air, it actually makes you sweat quite a bit more,” Caleb Shoemaker said.
