Allentown cop faces DUI charge after reportedly driving to testify in court

Allentown police charged one of their own with drunk driving last month, according to court records and a department supervisor.

Robert Rudolph II, 42, of Forks Township, was investigated at police headquarters after being suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol July 29, the court records say.

He admitted to drinking a fifth, or 750 milliliters, of vodka the night before driving from the Easton area to Allentown the morning of July 29, parking in a deck at Hamilton and Fourth streets, court records say…
