Finding Solutions: Augusta nonprofit seeks donations to expand laundry services for homeless

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A local nonprofit is converting a donated box truck into a mobile laundry facility for Augusta’s homeless population and is asking the community for help to fund the project.

Compass for Hope currently operates two shower trailers and two mobile laundry units, serving those without a home every Sunday near the new Augusta Arena from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
