Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle said “I do” with a former Broadway actress in a private family ceremony last week, according to city officials.
Battle married Jo Lynn Burks, who was most recently a music theatre and commercial voice instructor at Belmont College.
A native of Toney, Burks earned a degree in Performing Arts from the University of Alabama, where she was crowned Miss University of Alabama.
