A driver was caught traveling more than twice the speed limit in Powder Springs, according to police.
The Powder Springs Police Department said on Thursday, officers stopped a vehicle going 112 miles per hour in a posted 45 mph zone, nearly 70 mph over the speed limit.
Police said the driver was traveling 67 mph over the posted limit, a speed they say puts both the driver and others on the road at serious risk.
