SAN ANTONIO – Firefighters quickly put out a small fire at a one-story home, limiting damage and ensuring everyone inside — including two dogs — got out safely.
Around 3:20 p.m. on Friday, firefighters responded to calls for a structure fire at a small home near the corner of Westwood Drive and Breeden Street.
Crews responded to a single-alarm call and arrived to find what appeared to be a minor incident. “We got a single alarm for a uh, a one-story house, and it looked like there wasn’t a lot of fire involvement,” a firefighter at the scene said. “It looked like it could have been possibly what we call a food on the stove or a small contents fire.”…
