NEWBERG, Ore. — One of Newberg’s most decorated chefs has made his way north, departing from The Allison Inn & Spa for Portland’s The Ritz-Carlton.
According to a report in the Portland Business Journal published Aug. 12, 2026, Strong was named executive chef of The Ritz-Carlton, Portland, where he will oversee the hotel’s multiple dining facilities, including the Bellpine Restaurant and Meadowrue lobby bar.
