RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Multiple Central Virginia localities are under a severe thunderstorm warning Friday evening, with much of the rest of the region still under a severe thunderstorm watch.
The following Central Virginia localities are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 10:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14:
- Hanover County
- New Kent County
- Richmond City
The following Central Virginia localities are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 11 p.m. on Friday:
- Charles City County
- Chesterfield County
- Henrico County
- Hopewell City
- Prince George County
A severe thunderstorm warning means that a severe thunderstorm or storms has been located near or within the impacted areas.
