VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The new signs on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, highlighted by big, bold letters spelling out “Please Respect Our Resort,” are part of the city’s e-bike safety task force, which 10 On Your Side previously reported on.
“In the past, the rules have been like, stay on the bike trail and pedestrians are on the Boardwalk, and that’s been kind of melded together in recent years, where you see bikes on the Boardwalk and pedestrians on the bike trail,” said Jeff Hague, owner and manager of Ocean Eddie’s on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk.
