A Buda-based cake business built around the idea of desserts as a love language will open its first brick-and-mortar location in South Austin. According to public filings, Berry Tasty Bakery is planning to open at 429 W. Ben White Blvd. Svrd EB, Unit E, in Austin.
Berry Tasty is a bakery that offers a wide selection of desserts, including cheesecakes, cakes, pies, tres leches, flan, and individual slices, with flavors ranging from pistachio, Oreo, and Biscoff to dulce de leche, mango, and strawberry, alongside classics like pecan pie, apple crumble and brownies.
The bakery is owned and operated by Juanita Rivera, a Latina entrepreneur based in Buda, where the business currently operates a bakery and food truck.
