NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – The defense attorney for one of the men on trial in the murder of a federal witness showed new video in court Friday (Aug. 14), arguing his client did not pull the trigger.
The case is tied to the years-long fraud scheme to stage car crashes for insurance money. Prosecutors say disbarred attorney Sean Alfortish hired co-defendant Leon “Chunky” Parker to kill a federal witness in order to protect the scheme.
