COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Three members of the Comstock Township Board of Trustees resigned Friday, effective immediately.
Clerk Nicole Beauchamp, Trustee Kristie Cherry, and Trustee Terry McIver submitted official resignation letters, according to a social media post by Comstock Township Supervisor Ben Martin.

Petitioners in Comstock Township gathered enough signatures for a November recall election against trustees Bob Pratt and Kristie Cherrie.
In her resignation letter, Cherrie pointed to her unwillingness and inability to “play the game that politicians play.”
