SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – Broughton Street was bustling with energy Saturday as both locals and visitors gathered to celebrate 107 years of Leopold’s Ice Cream.
Leopold’s was founded in 1919 by three brothers, originally sitting on the corner of Gwinnett and Habersham streets. The store on Broughton Street opened in 2004 and quickly became one of Savannah’s most well-known dessert spots.
