A southern Missouri man has been charged with murder in connection to the death of a Kansas City woman in Columbia this week, online court records show.
Nicholas A. Ayres, 35, of Crane, Missouri, was charged in Boone County Circuit Court on Thursday with second-degree murder and first-degree domestic assault. He made an initial appearance in court Friday and is being held in the Boone County Jail without bond, records show.
