LEXINGTON, Ky. — Vendors, families and pets gathered Saturday for the 50th annual Woodland Art Fair, with the two-day event continuing Sunday.
The fair features free admission both days, along with 40 food and beverage vendors, 50 musical acts and more than 200 artist booths.
Attendees and artists return each year
Fairgoer Mary Kate, age 9, said she and her family have attended multiple times. “We just look at all the stores and, like, which one’s the most colorful and exciting. I like the jewelry stores,” she said.
Philippe Laine, originally from France, said he travels to Lexington specifically for the Woodland Art Fair. Laine, who spends most of his time in the Caribbean or Florida, said he has made the trip annually for the past 20 years…
