Chattanooga store owner, employees charged in gambling, drug, EBT fraud bust

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A Chattanooga convenience store owner and several of his employees face charges after authorities say they were suspects in a gambling, drug and EBT fraud investigation.

An arrest report we obtained says Chattanooga Housing Authority investigators, Police officers, and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents were serving a search warrant at a convenience store called One Stop Shop on Grove Street on August 14.
