(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Mecklenburg County is suing the developers behind the Brooklyn Village project, saying they failed to meet several deadlines for the Uptown redevelopment.
The lawsuit was filed in Mecklenburg County Superior Court this month. The county names BK Partners LLC and its associates as defendants.
According to court documents, Mecklenburg County selected BK Partners more than a decade ago to redevelop property in Charlotte’s Second Ward.
