The National Weather Service in Huntsville has extended a Heat Advisory through 7 p.m. Monday for northern Alabama, including the Stevenson and Fort Payne areas.
Forecasters say temperatures will reach the mid to upper 90s, with heat index values between 100 and 110 degrees possible.
