DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa State Fair has announced the replacement act for Colt Ford, who canceled his appearance due to an injury.
Earlier this week, country singer Colt Ford announced he had been involved in a bus crash and had a broken shoulder, which he had surgery for on Friday. Due to his injuries, his Wednesday appearance at the Iowa State Fair was canceled.
On Sunday, the Iowa State Fair announced that country singer Sterling Elza would be replacing Ford on the MidAmerican Energy Stage. Elza is known for songs like “Next Week” and “Throw Away” and released his album “Bag of Bones” earlier this year.
