The wait for more places to eat, gather, and shop is almost over for residents of San Antonio’s Far Northside. Construction on the area’s new $6.4 million retail strip is nearing completion, with recent photos showing major progress since work began last year.
Plans for Stone Oak Mercantile were first revealed in January 2025, when San Antonio-based property owner Canyon Golf JV Developer filed a report with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Online records indicated a two-story, 57,325-square-foot building was planned for 20135 Stone Oak Parkway, about a 10-minute drive from the popular Hollywood Park area.
Leases have been signed behind the scenes, and the tenant lineup has remained under wraps until now. Two spokespeople with Fulcrum Property Group, Inc., a real-estate company helping to develop the site, recently told MySA that several businesses, including the widely loved dessert spots Box St. All Day Brunch and Paris Baguette, are headed to the shopping center.
Folks will also enjoy access to Woodlands-based Crust Pizza Co., which offers pasta, flatbread sandwiches, calzones and more. Other companies that secured a suite at the strip include JetSet Pilates, The Gents Place and Black Rock Coffee.
