TULSA, Okla. – Animals from across Green Country got a chance at finding new homes during a free adoption event in Tulsa hosted by the Oklahoma Pet Collective Society.
Families were able to meet dogs and cats from several rescue groups. Organizers also offered a vaccine clinic with low-cost wellness services and $10 microchips.

Organizers stressed the importance of routine care for pets, including vaccinations, heartworm prevention and flea and tick medication.
