Eugene police arrested a Springfield man on suspicion of driving under the influence after a caller reported seeing him drink alcohol while driving and swerving through traffic.
On Aug. 14 at 12:43 p.m., officers responded to the area of West Seventh Avenue and Garfield Street after a caller reported a man drinking an alcoholic beverage while driving. The caller said the driver was swerving, changing lanes without signaling and braking unnecessarily.
