STOW, Ohio (WOIO) – Firefighters made quick work of a fire in a classroom at Holy Family School on Kent Road Monday afternoon.
The Stow Fire Department said they were called around 1:00 p.m. The caller reported smoke inside the building, and school staff was evacuating the structure.
There was heavy smoke on the second floor in a classroom.
Firefighters put the fire out and ventilated the affected room
Thanks to the swift actions of firefighters, fire damage was minimized, and the incident was brought under control quickly.
