ATLANTA (WJBF) – A massive new data center campus is coming to Columbia County, as Georgia continues to attract major technology investments and faces growing demand for electricity.
Google announced in July that it will be the sole operator of a planned campus at White Oak Technology Park, between Appling and Harlem. The development could span up to 3,500 acres and include more than 8 million square feet of data center space, potentially making it one of the largest projects of its kind in the country.
