FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Fayetteville police are warning the community after an increase in suspected fentanyl-related overdoses over the past several days.
Police investigators said there were four overdoses within three days in Fayetteville. According to them, there were 24 overdoses in Fayetteville in 2025. Just halfway through 2026, the city has reached that number of 24.
