EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — An Indiana man running to raise awareness of pediatric cardiac care hopes to complete the first 50 miles of his six day run.
Kyle Rauguth, an anesthesia technician, started running in 2024. Today is the first day of his 300 mile journey. Raguth will run the state of Indiana to raise money for the Lurie Children’s Heart Center in Chicago. He says he was inspired by ultra marathoners.
“The idea was really from, like, watching ultramarathon documentaries and people like, there’s other people out here that have done crazy things like this, and I’m like, that does something I want to try,” Rauguth said…
