Pinecrest is reducing the speed limit on several city streets as of Monday, Aug. 17.
The goal, according to Pinecrest police, is “to help create safer streets for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.”
The speed limit will be reduced from 35 mph to 30 mph on portions of the following streets:
- Southwest 72nd Avenue
- Southwest 77th Avenue (Palmetto Road)
- Southwest 67th Avenue (Ludlam Road)
- Southwest 120th Street (Montgomery Drive)
- Southwest 124th Street (Chapman Field Drive)
- Killian Drive
