No true Miamian is shocked by a little summer sweat, but our temperatures have been on an entirely different level as of late. In fact, last Friday’s weather was anything but typical!
According to the National Weather Service, Miami actually set a daily record high temperature of 96 degrees on Friday, August 14. This breaks the previous high of 95 degrees set all the way back in 1909!
The record-breaking day brought high humidity to the region, creating triple-digit “feels like” temperatures that triggered Heat Advisories across much of South Florida. And the heat isn’t letting up…
