NYPD: Man, 27, critical after hit-run road-rage incident near Staten Island Mall

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are investigating after a man was hit by a car in New Springville on Monday following a road rage incident.

Based on preliminary information, police say that around 1:40 p.m., a 27-year-old man and another driver exited their vehicles after a road rage incident and engaged in a verbal dispute.

The other driver re-entered his vehicle and struck the 27-year-old man before fleeing the area while heading east on Platinum Avenue, according to the NYPD…
