Local bookstore Serendipity Books hosted a sold out Adult Book Fair, themed after grade school book fairs, where attendees began lining up outside the front door fifteen minutes early.
“We’ve seen a lot of bookstores doing an adult book fair, and we toyed with the idea of like, ‘Oh, do we set up somewhere else?’” Serendipity employee Lucy Lawrence said. “And then we thought well, we could just do it in the store, but if we were just gonna have it in the store, we wanted to make it extra special.”
