Hit-and-run accident in Augusta leaves girl critically injured

AUGUSTA, Kan. (KWCH) – A girl in Augusta was critically injured on Monday night after being hit by a car.

Augusta Crime Stoppers shared that just after 7 p.m., a girl was hit by a car in the 1000 block of Campbell. She was critically injured and taken to the hospital.

The driver of the car left the scene of the accident. Augusta Crime Stoppers says that debris in the road indicates that the suspect vehicle may be a 2005-2009 Pontiac G6. The color is unknown…
