ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Above-average heat is set to return to New Mexico for Tuesday with mainly dry and hot conditions across the state.
Wednesday should be a little hotter. We are forecasting 99 in Albuquerque. There is a chance we could see heat advisories issued Wednesday or some other day this week for either Albuquerque or parts of the state.
We will be close to record highs at times all the way into next week. Our rain chances may increase late Wednesday. There could be some monsoon showers and storms scattered around the state with a few heavy downpours…
