RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A 5-year-old child was left with severe, life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday night at the intersection of 9th Street and Dolomite Circle in Reno, and police said the driver took off without stopping.
Reno Police Department, Reno Fire Department and REMSA personnel responded at about 8:33 p.m. to reports of a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash at the intersection.
Investigators said the initial investigation found the child was chasing a ball in the street when the child was struck by a vehicle traveling west on 9th Street. Police said the driver fled the area and did not stop to attempt to render aid…
