Daisy Lupa officially stepped into the role of Farmers Market Manager in August 2026. Lupa succeeds Dana Queen, who has served as the market manager since May 2021.
Lupa Growing Roots in Saline
No stranger to Saline, Lupa came here with her family in 2014 and attended Saline High School. Lupa has always had an interest in food and agriculture and was a member of the Saline Future Farmers of America (FFA), which she feels “gave me a good grounding.”
Speaking of her appreciation for the farmers market, she says, “My family has always been passionate about supporting the farmers market. I remember when I first came here at 14 years old, I was super excited to be in a town with one because we didn’t have that before.”
