Columbia County Health officials are warning the public to be vigilant after a raccoon bite on Friday was reported at Blanchard Woods Park.
The raccoon was captured by Columbia County Animal Services and tested. The test results are expected in the next few days, according to a news release from the Georgia Department of Public Health.
