Myrtle Beach ice cream truck driver says music restrictions are costing him sales

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – An ice cream truck driver said his sales are melting away after Myrtle Beach police told him he could no longer play music.

Stephan Richards drives the Mama G’s ice cream truck around the city, and said he’s spent all summer selling ice cream mainly along 21st to 67th Avenue.

However, he said an officer stopped him a few weeks ago telling him he could no longer play his jingle and also threatened to arrest him if he continued…
