EAST SYRACUSE N.Y. — Two people are dead after a vehicle crashed into a tree early Wednesday morning, according to DeWitt police.
Police said an officer heard a loud collision around 12:12 a.m. while patrolling the Franklin Park neighborhood. The officer found a Kia sedan that had crashed into a tree off the west shoulder of Franklin Park Drive, between St. Paul Drive and Deerfield Road.
The Kia, which was registered in the Bronx, was traveling north on Franklin Park Drive when it crossed the center line just north of St. Paul Drive, left the west shoulder and struck a tree in front of 100 Franklin Park Drive, police said…
